EXCLUDE FROM ANALYSIS Exclude From Analysis is an off-on switch that can be selected so an answer choice and its data are not used in the tables and graphs in the reports (Figure 3-8). To use Exclude From Analysis: 1. Click the answer choice to edit it. 2. Click the blue arrow to the right. 3. Select Exclude From Analysis. Figure 3-7 Rich Text Editor for an answer choice. INSERT GRAPHIC This option, found in the blue arrow drop-down, makes it easy to insert a .png, .gif, or .jpg image into your answer choice field. To use Insert Graphic: 1. Select Insert Graphic. 4. Select an image using one of the following methods: Q - T I P a. Click the Library drop-down menu near the top left if grabbing an image from a group library. b. Click Upload a New Graphic if the image isn’t already in your library. Q - T I P i. Click Browse to find the file on your computer. Q-TIP -TIP • Exclude From Analysis is automatically selected when you enter None of the Above. ii. Click Use a graphic from the web to reference an image online. - T I P • An excluded choice is designated by a small red X appearing to the left of the choice. Q - T I P • To turn off, just repeat steps 1–3. Q - T I P • Valid file types: .png, .gif, and .jpg (.jpeg). - T I P • Make sure you have permission to use the images you want to display in your survey. • Images can also be inserted through the Rich Text Editor. Just click the Insert Image icon found at the top INSERT PIPED TEXT of the Rich Text Editor toolbar. Insert Piped Text allows you to display information from other places in the survey. You can pipe text from a Survey Ques- tion, Embedded Data Field, Panel Field, Loop and Merge Field, or Quota. To use Insert Piped Text: 1. Click the answer choice to edit it. 2.
